The Steam version has been recompiled for Linux and Mac. Now if only those binaries could be ported to the disc based versions of the game...

I'd definately go with the CEN Matrix, it's a good mid-performance buggy, meaning there are both cheaper and more expensive 8th scale buggies out there. If parts are a problem, then I'd suggest when you first get the car, get spares of what will most likely break, these include the suspension arms ...

on a side note, without googling, does anyone here do the R/C plane thing? i wonder where a good place to get started would be in this hobby... they sell those 'AirHog' R/C things, but i can't imagine them being any good... One kind of plane comes to my mind instantly when I think of a good entry ...
