Whenever you ban ANYTHING from ANYONE, someone will find a way around it. In the case of guns, crooks will find way around anti-gun laws, and will take full advantage of the fact that now every innocent civilian in the USA is unarmed. Result: crime rate goes up. I am in full opposition to gun contro...

DBB on the go!
You can access this site on your cell phone! Try it out! Only problem is: you can't log in (or if you can, I haven't found out how, yet). The text boxes and stuff for the login page don't show up on mobile phones (probably written using a non-wireless web format?). So you can browse and read posts, ...

Sometimes you just gotta wonder what developers think when they make a game. You really do. I'm sure most of you have played Starfox Assault on the Gamecube. If not, swing by your local Walmart and play the demo. If and when Nintendo and Atari decide to make another Starfox, they have to come up bet...

Started with D2 shareware. My dad brought the game home from work with him, and was playing it when I first noticed. It looked like the most fun I could ask for! Eventually, I got to play it myself. Later on, I got ahold of D1, then the full version of D2. Now I have D3, meaning I have officially pl...

Ah yeah, Green Acres and whatever that show was w/Mr. Ed. I think that was...Mr. Ed. :P I can't stand Green Acres. Must be the song, must be something else, but I can't stand to watch it. Why that is, I have yet to figure out. Anybody remember that old Mario Bros cartoon? I think it was called the ...

Classic TV Shows
What's your favorite classic TV show? ("Classic" being anything that was popular in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. ;)) My top two picks are Dukes of Hazzard (if you haven't already, buy this show on DVD!) and Knight Rider. I wonder if the Duke boys ever thought to challenge Michael Knight to a der...

Personally, I do not plan on EVER even THINKING of owning a DS. EVER. Why? BECAUSE: 1) Some games are not playable on a touch screen for me. I treid playing a multiplayer game of Metroid Prime Hunters at a Gamestop once, and got mopped when I tried to switch to missiles...which you can only do on th...

A flare can kill a ship at 0% shields...which is rare. (Usually a ship that hits zero points shield is just half a second from being atomized, anyway.) But I can't help but like the way they made the flares stick to the bots instead of just hit them and explode. Now you can do all sorts of fun stuff...

Here's something I noticed on a bottle of Tropicana orange juice. The label says 100% pure orange juice. Right next to this, it says 100% vitamin C (I understand their meaning, but they could've worded this better). Under it, it says "from concentrate, with other ingredients." Kinda makes ...

Just gotta warn you about that secret level: the high velocity in the tunnels will give you a headache if you play around too much with them. ;) Other than that (and any resulting motion sickness. Better stock up on barf bags and Motrin ;)), this level's the most fun level in the SP game! (Someone n...

D3 flares also do one point damage. The easiest way to figure this is to watch your shields when Guidebot pegs you with one (he does, and he will as long as he's out). (One time Guidebot pegged a Stinger right on the nose with a flare. And in D3, they stick, so I've got this robot with a flare stick...

They actually regenerate YOU, too! (I think you have to hit a switch or something before they'll work.) As for the engin...

I was listening to Paul Harvey the other day, and he mentioned something that caught my interest. The study also showed that the mortality rating for churchgoers was drastically less than that o...

Okay, Brownian motion wouldn't effect mass weapons, but the ship at least should move around just slightly (barely noticable unless you're really watching). Electric weapons could be used in some cases where you have to charge up an underwater generator or something. Then your ship becomes a giant D...

Ships would move slower in water, but would also be harder to knock around. Projectile weapons and missiles would go slower, but move around slightly as a result of Brownian motion. Energy weapons would have a wider area of effect, but severely limited range. Electro-weapons would zap the ship that ...

Declining schools
As many of you have noticed, the schools in the US have been dumbed down to allow more kids to have a chance at a better life. This is one area both Democrats and Republicans actually agree on. I, on the other hand, don't think the problem is with the kids growing dumber. I think it's all these pare...

I've lived with dogs all my life. Some breeds of dogs can (and will) attack a human being for no good reason. I've got a scar (you can barely see it, but it's there) from a coon hound puppy bite (puppies tend to have much sharper teeth than adult dogs). However, most dogs, if raised and treated righ...

I don't trust news reporters. They're too notorious for blowing things outta proportion when they're no big deal. Someone so much as sneezes in court, the press is all over it. One time, in the final boss fight, I had the bouncing-weapons cheat on. I charged up my fusion, and let him have it. The fusion blobs flew threw the boss, hit the opposite wall, flew back the other way (through the boss), hit the other wall, etc. Plus, the shot multiplied passing through him, making...

If you need a nonlethal way to teach them cats a lesson, I suggest using paintballs. 1) They're quiet. No loud booming noise to disturb the neighbors. 2) Nonlethal. At 20+ feet, the balls just splatter and hurt, maybe leave a welt. Worst part is having to wash the stuff off the cat. That way, no one...
