Just wondering. Is it possible to do better lightning for the weapons? I find that the current system is not quite accurate. This comes obvious when flying backwards while shooting lasers. Just letting you know that lightmapping has slowed down compared to the previous release. (Rendering that is, not calculating) Not that I mind but it could come in handy finding bugs concerning lightmapping. My card it a firegl t2 128MB (render card) I'm pretty sure this card is based on the ati 960...

Diedle is apparently doing very well at keeping the documentation current. -and I do not think D2X-WIN is inherently all that hard to understand. The original version had pretty straight forward options while Diedel's version is a lot more optimized and tweaked. The default settings should do, though. I'll try to keep it short.:) OpenGL reticle should not change size when switching to full cockpit. The letterbox hud is still in d2x w32 but i can not set to this mode. Yeah, in my case right laser showed up very rarely...I noticed it showing up only once in the second level while turning. Coloured light flicker. Dynamic Lights is a term I got from the Doomsday Project. The term stands for any lights that are not static :wink: (vertex shading, pixel shading, this system probably too but I'm not that sure) Actually there's a dead D2 source project from 2001 based on the Doomsday Engine...

Another suggestion. I know about the other renderer being disabled. To be honest, the current renderer may be sufficient for D2 lightning. Yep, I had allready noticed. Midi is ok now. Works like a charm...even robot movies work! Transparent Explosions
I was wondering if you could implement transparent explosions like in the 3dfx version. For some reason it really has this great feel to it imho. btw, another bug...when midi is at minimum volume, then back at a not zero volume, playback is restarted instead of resumed. This probably causes the menu...
