Can only select fire palette

I noticed that, in the newest version of DLE-XP, you can only use the \"Fire\" palette setting. I want to use the \"GroupA\" palette, but it's not letting me. Could this be a bug?

Well, I'm 14 now, and I've been playing Descent since about 3 or 4. :o

It's been sort of an on-and-off phase, really. Descent was the first game I played and understood, and I still play it today! :D

Too bad I never slid once... :P

It would be great if there were support for hi-poly robot models, not just a mega missile and a pyro.

It would also be great if there were WAV/MP3/OGG support. :oops: :idea: :D :o :shock:

And, does Blender have OOF support? If so, where is it? I'd like to know. :)

When I download your energy powerup texture, the system says that the file is corrupted within the zip. Is there anyway to fix this?

The Hi-res models can be built in D3Edit, then converted to OOF files in OOF Edit. Both are separate downloads and can be found on PlanetDescent.com

But then, the question would be, what would you do from there? Would you edit the HXM or edit the OOF? I don't know the answer to this...

I have a bug to report.

In a 900+ cube level, when you look at the automap from within cube 901 or higher, you only see the part of the mine with cubes 901+ rather than the whole mine.

When I add additional objects to a level that contains robot triggers, then save and close, then open it up again, DLE-XP somehow reattaches the existing robot triggers to other robots. One bug report I have is about robot triggers. Once I edited a texture in a level with object triggers, clicked \"save\" and the 'bot triggers did not work in D2X-XL. I went back into DLE-XP and there were no robot triggers there! I replaced the robot triggers, but I fear it may happen again. :x

Moving Colored Lights...

I am making a level with moving colored lights, but when I play the level in D2X-XL, it immediately crashes right when I get to the room with moving colored lights.

Is it possible to fix this?

Try to find the invisible focal point on both the left and right forcefields and shoot them. :)
If you can find it and shoot it, you can see sparks coming out of the wall next to you. Keep shooting it until you see an explosion.

You do the same thing in Mercenary Level 3, BTW.

Having additional access to the HOG manager would be very useful. It would be like having two tools in one: a level builder and a Hog manager.

Two suggestions:
Some new camera options with the mouse would be nice.
A briefing editor would be pretty cool, too.

I know that part, it's just that I put colored lights on those sides, saved, and, when I opened up DLE-XP again, they didn't show up. They were just the regular white lights.

I found a bug when coming near mini-reactors. I believe that when they try to fire, the game immediately crashes. :( Actually, I first get an error message that says: Error:SegNum_not_found! I push enter and it appears again, then I push enter again, and the game crashes... This happened on the W32 ...
