Here's a guess: I have to set \"multiple bosses\" to false befor I enter a level that might have them? Setting to false after I enter the level is too late? If I have no save games prior to entering that level, then I must start over? Or, I have to set multiple bosses to false before start...

All right... very funny... I get to the D1 L7 boss, duck into a hallway, and there is a new reactor in addition to the L7 boss. (I lose). Next time, I kill the reactor and win without having to kill the boss. (That's not right either). I turned off \"2 boses\" (or whatever that is called) ...
