Well, I upgraded to version 1.5 which is stated to fix something under win 98, but without luck. Then I switched from OpenGL to Direct3D and that fixed my nightmare.

However, I wonder if I will be able to play online with version 1.5...

Hmm, I prefer \"fire and forget\" tactics. I'm just flying around a level and looking for opportunity to surprise an opponent. I played for about one hour and my result was 59 kills and 118 deaths (there was mostly 5-6 players).

I tested this and I'm not happy. This file works, but I still don't have a REAL black pyro. Everything is messed up. Cockpit looks exactly the same as in standard Pyro GL. Concussion missiles are too fast, homing missiles are too slow and with strange look (I can fire just ONE missile at the time).....

Nah, I will forget multiplayer. When I choose multiplayer menu in game and select direct tcp/ip (or something like that) my computer stops responding and everything is freezed except my mouse cursor... I use windows 98 SE... It looks that only option for me is single player.

Yes. This is a serious mistake in level design beacuse some of those fans are indestructible, so there is no way of retrieving guidebot...

Nope, my guidebot was sucked by one of huge ventilators. However, I managed to complete level without it.
