Thanks for the responses. Turned out I was a version behind on nVidia drivers. The update fixed it. Thank you!

Spidey, as I submitted this that thought crossed my mind too. They are current (nVidia 470 GTX) but I'll give it a shot, maybe do a re-install. Thanks for the reply. Will report back!

Strange Flash Issues
Hi all, I've been scratching my head on this one for awhile. (Win7x64 PC) It doesn't matter if I use IE8, FireFox or Chrome, Flash videos will randomly just be green. Not even limited to videos, flash adverts too. Videos seem fine on my Tablet and Mac... so it doesn't seem to be the source videos. I...

Re: Question regarding 8GB RAM in x64 Win7 (SOLVED)
Well, disregard please. 10 seconds after posting this I found the problem. MSConfig's Advanced menu for whatever reason had Max memory set to 0. Unchecked the box and rebooted. Back to the full 8GB. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l248/Jmeat/sys4.png Wanted to post in case anyone else comes across...

Question regarding 8GB RAM in x64 Win7 (SOLVED)
Hi folks, long time no see. Hope everyone is well. =) I just purchased an 8GB Kit of DDR3 1333 RAM for my i7 system but was surprised to see the following in Windows 7 x64 in system properties. Something I'm used to seeing on 32-bit clients. Am I missing something? I've searched for a "Memory R...

New system upgrade: Question about SATA3.0
Built a new system (Win7 x64) and followed the Mobo manual to connect the HDD to the proper SATA 6Gb/s port, using proper cable, but HDTune seems to report it isn't running SATA 6Gb/s, it's running the old school 3G/bs... am I reading this correctly? The HDD is a WD 1TB drive that supports SATA 3.0 ...

Internal 5 1/4 standard size, but in a silver/aluminum bezel. You win one Internets if you can find me one (not used/auctioned). Brand really isn't a concern.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Core i7: LGA 1156 or 1366?
I like the idea of Tri-Channel memory over the dual-channel, but which socket offers the most forwards-compatible design? I don't want to sink a small fortune into a form factor and then be locked into something Intel is going to phase out. The memory bandwidth benchmarks are pretty close. Money isn...

I'm an avid fan of Palm's webOS phones (I'm a Sprint customer using a Pre) and read PreCentral a lot. They have a sister site that is a great resource for Android based devices: http://www.androidcentral.com/ Another Droid phone coming to Verizon is the Droid Eris by HTC. It's basically a re-badged ...
