Man I hate those commercials... They give me nightmares! Seriously, I think they got Clive Barker or Sam Raimi to write them for BK!
I especially hate the one where the guy goes to the window and sees him in the middle of his yard, looks away, and when he looks back, he's only inches away from his window! Freaky!
Not to mention the one where the one poor guy wakes up next to the King with that gay ass smile!
If you think seeing in the King window is freaky. Then you haven't seen the one when his in some guys bed giving him a hamburger. That one freaked me out a little.
While not exactly creeped out by them, I'm not especially fond of the commercials, either. Whatever happened to the days of Kid Vid and the gang? I'd take them over that freaky king any day!
The absolute worst one was the Bacon Cheddar Ranch song. They played that one nonstop on Adult Swim, and I was about ready to kill whoever got the idea for it.
I think I saw one of these tonight. The king gives some guy a breakfast sandwich and then it cuts to him laying on the floor with a dog licking him. I was like O_o?.
Hmm
The first time I saw the BK commercial was the window one...
For awhile, I thought the king was the guy in the WhiteKastle commercial... maybe it's because I only seen these two commericals once in my life and couldn't really compare the difference.
I can't stand their ads period. However, that one with the "Bacon Cheddar Tendercrisp" pisses me off because its on Spike TV all the time! I hate them almost as much as the stupid enzyte ads.
Wierd, I absolutly thought that King was freaky too.
Plastic face with that wicked smile, give him a knife or no, a machete yeah thats it, and you got your next Jason.
Oh, and the Angus burger was ripped from Carls Jr. (Hardees). That is a friggin wicked burger! My wife talks about traveling to Ohio so we can get one! Now if they could just open a few more resturants here in Michigan...
Cripsin Porter + Bogusky is the ad company responsible for BK's latest series of ads. They see this as a weird twist on the venerable "have it your way" slogan. Remember? Your way, right away, at Burger King now!
They're also responsible for the IKEA "unboring" ads, like the lamp one. Classic.

And management and... well, not everything, but they should be kinda related by now, becoming two different tiers or something. But I wouldn't know, they don't give us Carl's Jr here, and when we were still in California, they were independent of Hardee's.
I've pretty much just see the Bacon Cheddar one, but that's very very strange. Everytime I see it, I really wonder about the sanity of the people who envisioned it. (And yes, the King seems a bit evil.)

Minor tangent, but does anyone else get the feeling "Bob" has severe issues and his wife is scared to death of him? (Whether it's because of the enzyte or just his innate homocidal tendencies -- or both -- I'm not sure, though.)

lmfao thats what you get for watching spike tv.
And yeah, just the other day me and some friends were talking about how creepy the BKing is. Also, the bacon cheddar ranch thing is the worst thing i've ever seen in my ★■◆●ing life, i threw my shoe at the TV the last time i saw it.
I dunno why everyone hates that ad, I think it's incredibly funny underneath the overall weirdness. Darius Rucker playing guitar (he just started on a solo career alongside Hootie and the Blowfish), Jenna Jameson, Vide Guerra, Brooke Burke, the whole Wizard of Oz thing, it's great.
I think the new Burger King is cool in a twisted way. Just think of the ads as an acid trip.. that's the concept behind them with the have it your way, you are the king.
Egg and Cheese and Egg and Cheese and Egg and Cheese
It's good to be the king!
I laughed my ass off the first one of the new ads I saw. I remember the orginal Burger King.. fat little goofy bastage he was...
I think that Burger King has a strange draw, indeed. Creepy or whatever, I kinda want that outfit for Halloween. I'll just need a small hole near the mouth so as to sip beers with a straw. Hmm I could hand out burgers all night too (and eat a few many myself)
