OMG! .......... HUMPED!
OMG! .......... HUMPED!
yup .. that about sums it up. Our "buddies" at RvB got PWND! By the guys at Bungie.
Here's the vid explaining it in the aftermath. (at the bottom - "humpday") There is also some reading about the whole thing on thier main page. Pretty funny.
There is also 2 walkthroughs of 2 of HALO 2's deathmatch maps. One called warlock is, or rather was, Halo 1 Wizard. .. take a peek.

Nor were we starting a Halo 2 sux thread.
Since we are off topic, I will say that HL2's engine rocks but they needed some VTM's to go along with it. :
However, UT2004 onslaught ownz Halo and Halo 2 multi any day. It's VTM's and mod friendly environment are second to none. I also took note that in the level, Mothership, you fly one man fighters that can turn all the way around (I was doing full out loops in that ship and you can roll with no autoleveling restrictions.)
Anyway, I'll STHU

Well, we were talking about halo 2, so i expressed my opinion about it.
What's a VTM?
And like or hate half life 2, valve is doing something which I think is kind of cool and should be done more in video games, they've been releasing new maps and mods for the game over time. they've released half life 2 deathmatch, and are going to release day of defeat (a world war 2 online game) for free on it.
also, i've heard that they're releasing an expansion for free, detailing what happens after the end of half life 2.

VTM's are video training moduels. They are video training programs that are on the DVD version of the game. They give you a full out training course in every area of modding UT2004. The first part I think was something like 30 hours and that isn't even the tip of the iceberg These are avi videos that litterally allow you to watch someone build a level/model a vehicle/script/write a mod right in front of you while explaining everything they are doing in full detail.
