Not to mention that damn near every one of them have the aerodynamics of a brick with wheels. Especially those 1/3 the way down with the bumpers that look like something off of a dump truck....Fusion pimp wrote:Those aren't oil coolers, Tri. Those are supposed to be intercoolers. I would put money on it that not a single one of those toon-town cars are boosted.
And what the hell is up with the tailpipe crap? Don't those morons realize the stress that would put on the muffler? Go faster than 55 (which I doubt a single one of those cars could) and its over with.
Hell, that pink one with the mile-high spoiler would flip end over end before it hit 30mph.
Excuse me, those are definitely oil coolers. Intercoolers have in and outtakes on opposite sides and the tubing is WAY larger to allow for good airflow.Fusion pimp wrote:Those aren't oil coolers, Tri. Those are supposed to be intercoolers. That, or those coolers are intended for the drivers themselves rather than for the engines

ROFL....
http://tanetane92.web.infoseek.co.jp/052521.jpg <---- only half-decent one on that page.
I would have left off the sticker in the back windows, I would not have tinted the windows and take that ugly hood scoop off and your fine. The blue shade looks a tad on the ricey side but I don't mind it. It looks allright on that particular car.
The rest of the cars had my jaw hanging on the floor.... those are BUTT UGLY!!
What is with the 20 foot bumpers?

One friend of mine claims that the paint screams rice and doesn't look right on the car. I personally think it looks cool on that particular car. Some cars look pretty good with that shade of blue as long as it is done with tastefully. A little bit of rice is ok in my book but just don't go overkill with it. No stupid looking spoilers/body kits. Just give it a cool paint job if you like and a decent set of rims and a good sound system. Any other modifications stay under the hood. AND NEVER PUT STRIPES OF ANY KIND ON YOUR CAR. I did this with mine and it was fun for about 2 hours. I've been regreting it for the past 2 years while trying to get them off with all my might.Mobius wrote:I liked the blue Nissan 300Z - that is a nice looking custom job.
Another thing, put hubcaps on if you like but don't pick out fugly ones that look too ricey and do not match the shape of the car well.

Ummmm white with ummmm hubcaps?
It's still a cool car but I would at least give it some wheels and I never really cared for white on most cars.
I'll give you credit for the skip the hoodscoop look though.
Let's get this right. On ANY CAR WHATSOEVER, if you paint it any other color/shade than what the factory provides stock or if you put on a pair of rims/wheels, you are gay?
Personally I would take the blue shade over the white anyday. Perhaps not that shade but I guess I just like blue on a car

Oh Crap! I'm rice!

Well, the stang was an acception hehe. What I was referring more to the stripes a ricer would put all the way across the front, top, and back of the car. Such as what a lot of ricers love to put on their Neons, Taurus's, or 89 Nissan's.
At least I admit that it was retarded when I did that.
As for those being wheels.... they look nearly identical to a set of $20 hubcaps I saw in Wallmart a couple weeks ago. If they are wheels they are still pretty generic looking. I do need to get a new set of glasses though. Seriously.
The car as a whole is still better than the one I have though. My point was that I would still take something that looks cool and interesting over something that is generic anyday. With the acception of certain cars. Such as the new Stang, or a Lotus that should always stay stock. Nothing like a Stang in gunmetal or a Lotus Elise convertable in baby blue.
Black goes with Vetts, somehow, red goes on a Taurus GL Green should go on big trucks, purple is cool on PT Cruisers and even Probes, yellow on the new Chevy truck or even a Porche 911. Heck Ferrari's are probably the only car I cared for other than the 64 1/2 convertable Stang in bright red but I can't name a car off the top of my head that I really cared for in white. Just not my preference. It looks cool on paper and CD covers. It does look ok on Van's but I would still go with dark green in that case.
