You lucky Amercians. I don't get it. Guess I'll have to wait for a torrent. I'm not waiting 6 months + for it to air in Canada. I find it retarded they don't broadcast it on our version of the Sci-fi channel.

Sci fi will air the first half of the season now, then wait till january for to air the rest.
From what I've
read , Space will start airing the second season in november with no interruption, and only being a week behind the US at the end.
Now, how the CBC is going to schedual Dr Who with the playoffs is something to worry about.

i love it. can't wait. i have the whole first season DVR'd. must admit i like SG1 and SGA as well. Friday night makes for some fun viewing on SCIFI.
edit: i feel like BSG is not just the best sci fi on tv right now, but the best drama as well.

Yeah, those three hours kicked major ass! I can't wait till the Genii get a rude awakening by the Daedalus.

Damn, I wish I had seen this thing from the beginning. I caught an episode once, and it seemed very good.
I just don't want to jump into it after a whole season has already passed by.

Or you could just buy the DVDs that'll be out in just a couple of months...

"Will you pray with me?"
That scene just gave me goosebumps. Also the planet scuffle... Ouch.
BTW, BSG Season 2 will air in UK in October, so UK will get the second half of S2 first.

Personally, I like Firefly better...but BSG is very good. And I look forward to many a Friday night stuck to the Sci-Fi channel.

Scifi Friday just set record high ratings.
2.1 for SG-1
2.2 for Stargate Atlantis
2.6 for Battlestar Galactica
Thats the highest ratings for ANY show on that network in a LONG time. Usually they're down in the 1.6 range at the most.
