Executing him would be too quick a solution. I say lock him in a room with her relatives for say....an hour or so, or until they finish with him. Whichever takes the longest. THEN kill him.

I wouldn't want to be in the same room as someone like you.

Punishment should never be cruel or unusual. Death is what he deserves, and it's death he'll have. No point in doing anything more than removing his genes from the gene pool.

Kneejerk reactions like this might be what the R-Complex in your brain screams for, but it's not a rational response from a supposedly enlightened human being.

Terrible story that. I can't watch my sport while the wife's around ever since a terrible row we had a few years ago whilst watching England v Argentina at the world cup. I go to the local bar now to act like a caveman.

I'll admit that restricting one's retaliations to verbal violence is not the same as resorting to physical violence, but see how easy it is to let someone to push your buttons.

And if Mobius wants to bring religion into it, let me say this. "Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, life for a life" is about prescribing a punishment that does not exceed the crime. The ancient Israelites were actually pioneers in establishing what is now called the rule of law.

I wouldnt want him to die, I really believe that is the easy way out. I would want him to serve a true life prison sentence in a real "hard time " prison.

To me death would be better than being imprisoned forever.
