What game are you playing?
I'm having a few problems with the old "main.exe" error in descent so me and my kid were looking at whats going on gamewise at the moment. I've been out of circulation gamewise for a few years so i'm trying to see whats up.
To test the new comp out we downloaded "gunz", and while i'm not a big fps fan, this free game is quite cool. I'm running up the walls, shooting and doing flips...great fun. Not the best graphics in the world; but great gameplay, which is what i'm looking for.
So what's new chaps?

clipping plane is usually pretty far, unless its a smoggy or cloudy, or muggy day.
seems to be able to handle an unlimited number of objects.
extremely high object detail, right down to the atomic pixels
but, no save or load function, or even reboot
but on the plus side, no time warps or rollbacks, unless you live in Mississippi.
no zones, or loading wait times
yea, real life is fun

The Iran game has been downloaded in Iran thousands of times, Halper said, and the company has received roughly 300 e-mail messages from Iran. Some criticized the game but others had asked how to get a copy without a broadband connection.

It's an online-only game with complex battlefield-like gameplay, and an effective mmorpg-like leveling up system played in hovertanks with a ton of weapons, action, strategy, and teamplay. Graphics are a throwback to tribes, but it's ok because you regularly find 30-person servers and at that point the graphics start to matter less as you fight to survive.
The best part? It's completely free

Apart from Descent (which I do still play given the chance) the main things I'm into are Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries and Diablo 2 (expansion). Not the newest stuff on the block but still reasonably fun and at least my machine can cope.
I do also occasionally play Jedi Knight 3 and Guild Wars though. (Although I usually forget to play Guild Wars for extended periods of time.)
