The good news is that after the thread died, it was used to sew on a new patch over the puke-stained blanket, then Haagy went forth and proclaimed a new day, and the lion laid down with the lamb, and the dog laid down with the bedspread, and the Lortab addicts were all cured and took to raising butterflies that then spread their wings and covered the entire surface of the state of California.
