Hey all you Descenters! I am publicly announcing the expansion of Clan Zero Mercy from battle.net games to Descent 3!
As some of you may know and have met me, I am (4 star) General Zangarath[ZM], top general of the clan. ZM is in need of several things:
New hosting and site, or coding for our current site
Ship icons
Avatars
Banners
Images for banners
Images for linking to our site
Level ideas for a recruit testing level
We would also greatly appreciate a warm welcome from the entire Descent community!

Actually the clan just expanded a couple months ago, bu it wasn't made public until recently. I'm in charge of the Descent branch.

I am updating the website status
.
Stryker has volunteered to construct a site for me and ZM and so it will be up shortly. I am still seeking free hosting with ASP and HTML enabled.

I have not yet found a host, though I know of some free hosting sites that I am thinking of using:
http://www.sitesled.com
http://www.myspace.com
http://www.mywebspace.com
And there are others, but I want to know if those are good. I'm inclined to get sitesled, seeing as how it has HTML enabled. Any ideas or suggestions?

Ah, you mean to play something other than Descent?
Bah, humbug! Where's your Descent spirit gone?

He played for years, just like the rest of many of the "good" pilots that used too, they've accomplished what they wanted and now they're just a memory.
P.S i hope i summarized that well

The only reason not to use an HTML site is if you don't know how to make it look reasonable.

So am I to conclude from the aforementioned posts of both Money! and Zero that TEAM FEAR is a "
piece of sh1t "
If so, why is someone flaming my team and somehow convincing one of my team members to do the same...or has Zero quit Team FEAR as well
and thinking about it, I should
never of had to do this....WTF

It's a public announcement of a clan expanding to Descent 3. Grow up.
Also, HTML may not be the only thing used on a website. ASP and PHP as well as others may likely be used.
And might I make a point that this thread has drifted off topic?

ASP and PHP are not really used for anything but server-side scripting extensions to HTML... what your browser sees is probably the same thing.
Unless, of course, you used Javascript or Flash for the bulk of the website... and you'd probably be insane to do that anyway.

And if you're going to use ASP or PHP scripting, I suggest you study the language first. You'll find that very helpful when you're down in the guts of your document trying to fix/write your source code.

Will I can't tell if you're are joking or not. In all seriousness, there is a very low probability that ZM would beat FEAR. I thought I tried to make that clear in my last post, pointing out the sarcasm of the one before that.
I am sorry.

Sheesh, get a room you two!
Seriously, save that stuff for PMs. If you've got a problem with someone, take it to PM. Please don't derail a thread over a petty dispute.
