WINGY!!!! OMG you're still alive. How's married life? :P

This mod is actually nice in doom 3 and hopefully will fully support joysticks with 3 axis in the future.

Hey Merl,
Married life is good, how about yours?
I'm upgrading my system a lil bit next week, Atlon64 3700+ and a radeon X800 Pro, should be nice for Doom3(currently on AthlonXP 2800 and radeon 9800 pro), so I'll be watching this develop very expectantly.

We should get a lan going again soon, too bad I always get sent west for work (Michigan) rather then east, or I could stop by in Ottawa for some gaming more often.

Cool, I'm still running my 9800 Pro. Hoping to find out today if I ge a new job that would require travel to TO sometimes.

Our lan place out of town is gone since the owner is moving in April. :(

Well we are hijacking this thread :)

I'd have to approve it with the wife, but our house has plenty of room for a LAN, unfinished basement, an office, or large loft upstairs, so plenty of room for people. Oh, and 200 amp service, so no running out of juice, hehe :D

Jealousy will get you nowhere.

On another note, I just got off the phone and I did get the new job. I'll be starting march 10th after I come back from visiting LordVenom from kali that i've known since 1997. It's better money, 4 weeks vacation a year and I'll be doing some traveling between Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.

I'm sure if we decided to have a lan at your place this summer I could book a few days off and drive up with Baal and have puffer meet us part way near kingston.

Either way, it's great to see you back and let me know.

For the moment... I use http://d3.descent.cx/ it will list tracked games and launch D3 for you too.

But that should change here within the next week or so ;)

PXO has been dead for nearly two years now. You might want to get a copy of kquery. You'll have to put your command line options for D3 into kquery settings. Then just use the get servers command. Pick a game, right-click and select "join server". D3 launches and you're there.

Theres a sticky thread in Multiplayer that should answer any further questions.

Your best option is probably Vortex, which is similar to the old Gate. It features an interface for D3 IRC chat and level auto-downloading.
