Game browser for Linux

Post by Zinn »

Hi all. This is my first post here after a hiatus of many years... I don't expect anyone to remember me but I used to post here and play on PXO all the time. Good to see some of the same people are still kicking :)

Anyway, I was wondering--does anyone know of any game browsers similar to Kali for Linux? I'm using the tracker at d3.descent.cx, but nobody is ever on it. Does anyone play multiplayer online anymore? I'm looking for a friendly game sometime.

Peace!

The linux browser that Iten made just uses the Descent3.cx lists, so that won't help. I've actually run Kali in Linux using Wine, and it's barely usable... it works, but the font rendering is screwed up, and most of the buttons aren't readable. I never even tried to get it to launch D3, as there was no point... the command line switches are completely different.

So basically, you could use Kali and then jump into the game manually.

What about this:

http://gtkali.sourceforge.net/

I used it a long long time ago but I think it only does the chat rooms, not sure. It looks like it hasn't been uipdated in a long time.
