I've tried it and I am not able to deactivate the forcefield that leads to the red key room and I can't see through the see-through-grates where you can look into the reactor room, but the robots shoot at me and the hidden doors that lead to shield and energy powerups don't open up completely - they open up only half, but I can fly through, though.
Try to re-download the level (I have fixed a few more things in it) and use d2x-xl v1.6.106. Make sure to use -gl_alttexmerge 1.
The switch for the red key room forcefield is in the upper secret room you can reach from the first secret room (near the room that is connected to the reactor room).

If you have more of his work. How about zipping them up and offer them for d/l?

There's a weird problem with rendering camera objects. I haven't yet figured why this happens.
The shield orb may have drifted into a very thin cube you cannot enter. I will probably make these cubes inaccessible (cube type blocked) to avoid such problems.
finally managed to find that goddamned switch to be able to get to the red key and finish the level - it looks absolutely amazing
is there a way to get to the area beneath the reactor room?
oh and the red door is only transparent when the opening/closing animation is played when it is closed it is opaque (v1.6.117, but I once saw it transparent in some older version of D2X-XL)
An update: To play the most recent version 1.6 of LOR, D2X-XL v1.6.120 or greater is required, or the dynamic light effects will not work properly. You can however play older versions of LOR with the new D2X-XL versions, as they can handle the old dynamic light data format, too. The level still won't have good dynamic light effects due to severe limitations of the old format. So I recommend downloading LOR 1.6 and D2X-XL 1.6.120 (or whatever it is when you read this ).
