Latest Fix ?

Post by DaveD »

For XP 60Hz when playing openGL games.

Been out of it for a while, I just picked up a GF FX 5900 ultra from ASUS and was wondering what you all are using these days to get past the 60hz refresh problem.

I recently discovered that I could use RivaTuner to actually create a monitor driver .inf with the fix included so that all I would ever have to do again is update the monitor drivers.

um....the latest drivers for the Nvidia cards have had the ability to force refresh rates to compensate for the XP bug for a while now as well. May want to check that out too :)

They've supported it as far as I know after 40.72 came out.
