Would someone create a cool promo video for D2X-XL?

Just saw the promo video for the GP2X version of D1X-R and thought how cool such a video would be for D2X-XL, showing off it's features, like fully dynamic, colored lighting, smoke, shadows, high resolution textures, increased level complexity, improved HUD, etc etc ...

Is there some one around here who could and would do such a thing?

Funny how you asked. I've all ready created 3 Descent 2 videos using D2X-XL for YouTube. But I only have the weapon effects and the smoke enable in them. I'll be making another with every thing enable this time around. Just when I find have the time to make another video.

Tiger,

did you watch the D1X-R video? It nicely displays the various game features one by one, showing each prominently in a scene w/o the others interfering too much. Now that is easier for D1X-R as for D2X-XL, as D2X-XL has way more effects and bells and whistles, but I think it could be done. What do you think?

Actually I could even create a cut video myself, but I couldn't insert text messages blending in out, I guess.

Just in case you're wondering, I used the game recorder before I used fraps. That's maybe why only the laser effects showed up and not the rest of the weapon effects.

I have made a video clip myself now. It contains about 6 mins of in-game video footage showing many of D2X-XL's features. Grab it from Sourceforge.net or my Descent 2 site's download area.

I have bits of one. It's about 1:30 right now, though I may reshoot with hires textures from Dizzy. Provided the lag isn't noticeable.
