My origional descent logo was designed for me by Kryat back in 1997 using a sketch I had drawn for him.
http://missions.dyndns.org/misc/norest.jpg (The cross can be seen here, this was one I added new text to it later on).
Late last year I finally broke down and made my own version of it, which is something I've wanted to do for quite some time.

Theres something about Kryat's origional that I've always loved, but mine has a hand drawn feeling to it that reminds me a lot of the sketch I made 10 years ago. So, it's my avatar

Characters from a scene from one of Don Hertzfeldt's Bitter Films \"Rejected,\" in which the cartoon universe they are inhabiting is falling apart around them, where reality itself is melting, and they are in the crossfires of the maelstrom of chaos that is rapidly enclosing them. It represents my state of mind and the world in which we live, that is on the brink of destruction and ruin. Metaphorically, its the perfect image of the end of the world, and the insanity of the mind.

Screengrabs from Pixar's animation \"For The Birds\" to demonstrate their new \"feather plugin\". Quite old now - but ground breaking at the time. FTB was shown at film festivals. Ir runs about 5 minutes. I loved the birdy - and the way he chuckled as he looked right - and I thought it'd look sweet as a piss-taking avatar, and I was forced to put my name on it, because a bunch of animated BB icons I created once, ended up being served hundreds of thousands of times, to leechers who decided they liked my avatar!
It took a while to make, and get right, and it is ripped directly from the DVD - copyright be damned. I like it alot. It's funnier than the one I made in my \"Tron\" phase:

I always hated vampire moves until I saw the original Underworld. (Vampires and Lichens at war with a kicka$$ babe as a death dealer.)
Also every time I watch it, I cant help but bang head to the attitude filled rock.
I just had to see if I could come up with something as an avatar.
Unfortunately I'm also a lazy a$$ IRL. So I just did a short quick GIMP2 session and thats it.

Hmm, I can't see lichens putting up much of a fight against Vampires. But then again, I can't see Vamps being very interested in an "organism consisting of an outer fungal body enclosing photosynthetic algae", seeing as they are blood drinkers.Nosferatu wrote:Vampires and Lichens at war with a kicka$$ babe as a death dealer.
