As for what I want for Christmas, well, I already made my list in the other thread. Yes, some of them are rather girly as one would say.

Your right, and I didn't mean to make it such a sexist thread. Rather in the 9th hour I was scrambling for ideas for my girlfriend - and I knew the best place to obtain that information was from my fellow descenters.

I got no girlfriend or wife but when I had a girlfriend getting a gift for her was the easiest part. Getting gifts for the grandparents is hard as hell.

I never like spending much on presents, because of the whole christmas-is-too-materialised.
So this year I got her a Green Rose Chafer preserved in glass. For those of you that don't know, a Flower Chafer is a beetle that has a metallic coloration that's colour depends on how much light is put on it. For this one, it's green/amber.
Only €5! Which was pretty sweet!

I still find it highly ironic to get her a creature that's named for it's reputation to destroy roses...
