joystick sensitivity for 3dpro
My 3dpro stick is very squirrely...and I seem to recall that I used to have different settings for the sensitivity, as opposed to the default 1.0.
What settings do you use for your 3dpro,
and also, what is your keyboard ramping set to?

Set keyboard ramping to 0, always. Otherwise, you're not going to accelerate/slide as quickly as you could.
As far as the stick sensitivity goes, just play around with it. I'll change mine mid-game, depending on what's going on. If I need more accuracy, I'll drop it down, and if I need quicker rotations for dogfights, I'll set it back up.

KB ramping = 0, X:1.6, Y:1.6, R:2.2
I also have a file named Mssw3dpu.ctl in the C:\\Games\\Descent3\\ directory:

sluggish.. on the stick or KB?
with the KB, if you're still having issues, you might want to look in your CMos for something. Occasionally you will find a bios that likes to have some control over KB recognition.
more than likely no, but it's worth a look.
also, perhaps there is a driver update. I have a MS Ergo 4000 and it uses specific drivers for all the bells and whistles. But I'm sure that Bubba asked these things already.
