Well for the lynx I found a picture and traced parts that I thought were important. The rest was just trial and error. Redrawing over and over until it looked close to what I wanted. Plus getting some good criticism on the drafts.

I think this would be awsome as a print hanging on the wall. My father used to do wood carvings that look kinda like that.

very cool. The only details I don't like is the half circle in front of the eyes, and the lettering behind the head.
