King Crimson - Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With.
But since I got my THRAK avatar still going, I might just have to cue up the namesake.
THRAK can be as painful as it sounds. Wonderfully so.

Raspberry Jam - \"Oceanic\" - One of my all-time favorites. Obscure band from my college years, I've always loved the way this song builds slowly over a long track.
Sixpence None the Richer - \"Northern Lights\" - A relatively unknown song by 6p, I hadn't heard it in at least a couple of years. The openly vulnerable lyrics still get me sometimes.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

The Old Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Plus super-group extrodinaire Chickenfoot - Soap On A Rope ...Love it, Love it Love it!!
EDIT
Also...
...18 years ago I shared a coffee and a cafe table with a good musician friend of mine along with this other amazing classically-trained guitarist/ busker.
This guy blew me away with his skills ...then told me that he was turning his back on classical guitar to play slide guitar
(I'm a classical guitarist myself - suffice to say I wasn't impressed).
...He and his trio are now a household name throughout Australia and spreading overseas big time, he's been on Letterman's show amongst others, his music changes lives daily (including mine) and dear God almighty was I wrong about his career choice.
His name is John Butler and this is my favourite song of his - every time I hear it all of a sudden I'm 21 again and back amongst old friends at Gino's cafe in Freo. Good times!!
Do yourself a favour and look him up. Not everything he does is in this style, but this song is the one that means the most to me personally...
John Butler (of the John Butler Trio) - Ocean
ENJOY.

Your priorities are definitely backwards with that last statement. Rethink what you just said, and what you did previously.Burlyman wrote:I don't mind women; it's you I don't like. I'd rather listen to nightwish or justin bieber before even thinking about you.

Silversun Pickups - Panic Switch
enjoy!
edit: I also like her spinnerette
edit:
I'm also listening to them right now, so I'm on topic.
Ya, the George Washington thing could've been funnier, if it had more substance to it.
In other news @ Isaac, my pandora gave me a silversun pickups song a few weeks ago, Rusted Wheel I think. First one I heard by them, but it was pretty good, so I downloaded it. Maybe i'll look some more up later.
