who looks good this year?
I'm worried about my cowboys though they will beat the redskins. \"The white man will take your turf by force\"!

I think its too early to tell whos going where. Both the Saints and the Vikings looked hungover in thursdays opener. Should know more in a week or two when everyones haze clears.

Looks like the Eags have another QB controversy...? Kolb looked horrific before the concussion, and Vick looked incredible. Of course, Reid says Kolb will still be the starter.snoopy wrote:Eagles fan... we'll see what we get from Kolb. Tonight should be an interesting game, at least I hope it is.

The only controversy is in the minds of idiotic sports-radio personalities. You don't judge a rookie QB with a largely-rookie team after a single half of football, especially not against a legitimately-good team like the Packers.Foil wrote:Looks like the Eags have another QB controversy...? Nah, I think they'll be alright. Their defense is horrible, but the offense seems to be improving. Might be enough to win them 3 or 4 games.AlphaDoG wrote:I predict a perfect season this year for the Rams (0-16).
Agreed!Avder wrote:All I know after last weekend is that the Lions got robbed and the rule that robbed them needs to be modified.

Or players can make sure that they finish landing before they start celebrating....Avder wrote:All I know after last weekend is that the Lions got robbed and the rule that robbed them needs to be modified.
It's not that I like the result in that case... it's just a really simple thing for the players to deal with. It's like the case where one of the Eagles threw the football down at the 1 yard line on a big play & they have to play another down to get their touchdown- the easy solution is make sure that officials rule it a touchdown before you start celebrating and go throwing/dropping/sitting on/whatever the football. Even then, watch your celebration, because you don't want a penalty- IMO go give props to the rest of the guys who were out there on the field making it possible for you to have your magic moment.

still trying to figure out what a picture of a second-generation Sicilian has to do with this.null0010 wrote:Isaac wrote:"The white man will take your turf by force"!

Until a couple of years ago, possession + both feet down = finished landing.snoopy wrote:Or players can make sure that they finish landing before they start celebrating....Avder wrote:All I know after last weekend is that the Lions got robbed and the rule that robbed them needs to be modified.
IMHO, that never should have changed.

I know exactly who Iron Eyes Cody is, thank you very much, but most people just remember him as the "crying Indian." It was a joke, sir. A joke.dissent wrote:still trying to figure out what a picture of a second-generation Sicilian has to do with this.null0010 wrote:Isaac wrote:"The white man will take your turf by force"!
