Hey guys, I'm really sorry for not posting here. I'm doing a lot better these days. I had a bit of a rough run of things during the Summer. Basically, I spent a few weeks on my back waiting for my ribs to get better. Basically, after the first week, I just waited things out and at the end of the week, I felt mostly better. I got out of bed, went bathroom, went back to bed to wake up the wife and heard a pop as a sat down and hurt like hell again. Then had lunch and sneezed, which sent me over the edge for a while. I was worried for a while and basically there were some arguments going on over if we should go to the doctor or not. Basically, I decided to just wait a while longer, after talking to my mother-in-law, who works at the local hospital as an X-Ray specialist. She basically, asked me a few questions and suggested that I just wait it out. The first week, I basically, laid around, drooled, and played Minecraft and RDR for a while. The next week I was moving around as soon as I felt able, and by the third week, I felt relatively normal. However, I've kept myself very busy between job hunting, trying to study for my CCNA, and working on a fairly big project, that I can't really disclose details about yet. I don't really stay on my back long, and it seemed like the first couple of days on this board, there were mixed results, so I just decided to wait things out.
I don't really hop on forums that often these days due to being married, going to school, and, in general, keeping very busy.
Sadly, without a car, I haven't really landed anything around here. I've been trying to get a job on my street, but it seems that most of jobs close to me are mostly taken up. However, it looks like my financial aid kicked in this year and I'm getting a lot more than I did last year, so I'm going to be able to go to school and be just fine. So, basically, the plan is to survive 6 months more, finish my degree, and get a REAL job, so that I can apply pretty much anywhere I want and move if I need to. We can survive six months without having two vehicles and I might be able to land something at the college, so here is hoping.
Holy crap. We graduate at about the same time. I already have a useless art degree that's worth less than your used toilet paper. My new degree is actually usable.
