Sidewinder 3D Pro

Post by Buck2u »

Hey Folks
Been out of the loop for some time. Some of you may remember the LAN party I hosted in San Luis Obispo, California many years ago. Would love to get back in the game sometime but currently have very slow internet. Anyway, I have a couple of new MS Sidewinder 3D Pro joysticks that I'd like to go to a good home. If anybody's interested I'll just ask you to cover the postage. Keeping a couple in reserve in case I ever get back into this game :)

Normally I'd take you up on that in a heartbeat, because joystick hoarding has been a hobby of mine every since I picked up the closely-related hobby of destroying joysticks. :P Unfortunately I'm watching unnecessary expenditures right now, and I presently have a spare from e-bay as backup. Thanks for the offer!

Huh... maybe. I'm normally a mouser but I've been wanting to try sticking it (:P) again before Overload comes out.
The last time I tried was... seventeen years ago? And I don't think I gave it as much of a try as it deserved back then. Plus I've heard they can be useful in music software as well.

I think I'll just buy a new stick instead of trying to use a 20 year old technology one.

Absolutely. The question is, what kind of modern mouse and joystick better.
