I guess if Testi is going to be driving within 4 miles of my house I have no excuses for not going. Testi, I can ride with you or you can park your ride at my house and we can take Mrs KompresZors 04 Grand Prix (I just bought wednesday). It's a nice ride, good sound system and a 4 body trunk Then we can pick up kurupt and head west
Damn kurupt, I didn't know you lived that close to me, I'm only about 50 miles east of you on I-80

Guess I am in also. I will be driving down from the Twin Cities in MN, about an 8 hour drive for me. If anyone is on the way I can certainly pick ya up. I also have a 4 port router, 4 port switch and a 24 port hub I can bring along. I also have a couple old servers, one is a SCSI Compaq 2500 dual p-pro and the other is an IDE dual P350.

Ok, we have a small update:
We need people who can bring good stuff to the LAN!!
We need Switches, Servers, Computers for players flying in to be rented, extra monitors, ANYTHING!! nay, EVERYTHING!!! to be listed so I can have it added to the LAN website.
If you're planning to attend please list things you will have, somewhat in detail, and that way I can accurately see what kind of stuff we have to work with. We arent big ballin, so we need all of the help we can get. It will be rewarded if you contribute. Anywhere from waived or discounted lan fee, free strippers, free lodgings... we'll make something happen.
We need to have enough stuff from people to have a good ping for a 60+ man LAN. We don't want to have 80ms pings at a LAN
We're closing in on a good spot, and look for this LAN to happen near the end of July.
Please don't forget that this LAN is still only in the planning stages, and it WILL NOT happen if we do not get a high interest and enough equipment to have everything running smoothly. We're not big ballers here, we can't afford to go out and get a 50,000 dollar rig to LAN with. We will however try to generously compensate for any help we can get.
We looked into liability insurance, and we are undecided at this point. Do not be surprised if you have to sign a waiver before you do a keg stand

I have a Compaq proliant 2500 server with dual ppro 200 cpu's, a 5x18 GIG SCSI array totaling 87 gigs HDD with 2 3com 100 nics. Right now it is wiped clean, so I can put any OS that works best for D3 server on it. I have a small numer of small switches and hubs, 1 - 4 port linksys router and a dlink 24 port 10/100 hub. 2 - 15 inch monitors and 1 - 17 inch monitor for sure. I will have more monitors available by the time this happens and can update.
I forgot about my other server - a dual PII 350 IDE rig

I have a goofy Gateway server that I have as my Domain controller that we can probably use. If anything for DHCP. I'll see if I can scrounge up some switches here at work, though I can see some hubs we can use right off the bat, but one is a hub, i.e., euw! The other is just a 12 port switch, 10mbp ports, another euw.
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this.
