Jesus Freak:
I did a little research on travel from my home to Chicago, using the travel dates of June 25-June 28, 2004. Here is what I found:
Train Ride:
http://www.amtrak.com/
Via Train from my house to Chicago it looks like $200-250.00 fare, and TWENTY SIX HOURS TRAVEL TIME EACH WAY.
If you check http://www.expedia.com or http://www.orbitz.com you can find AIR fares around $170.00. Oh, and only 3hr 10 minutes travel time each way.
The only benefit I can see is that taking the train might allow you to bring your own systems more easily. Other than that, it's idiotic to even think of it

Ferno,
Sadly, no...I looked at it, but if/when I do go to Cali, it's to be outside and enjoy the city...not be in a room full of geeks ...but seriously, I can't. Would be fun though.
This Chicago one is about 20 minutes away from me, so it'll be all good! (And I won't have to worry about anything this time!)

Chifest 2k4 registration fee is $1,000.00 in advance, 1,500.00 at the door.
If you are below the age of 18 you will need to contact us to verify parental consent.
WHAT THE HECK??????!!!! Please tell me you're pulling my leg cause NOBODY is going to pay that much
Seriously though, what will be the fee?
