I need help locating a Win98se file. While trying to install my new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, I receive the following message..."missing file(`vjoyd.vxe;base6.CAB)". Thx, in advance, 4 any help
Don't know about 98, but try the latest WingMan version available at Logitech here. In XP you actually don't need the software, maybe someone could confirm if it's the same w/ 98 ? If you're going to use it, set the range of motion for X&Y to 70% and get rid of the deadzone.
dont have the cd but i do have the file on my desk top which i think i unzipped correctly cause after reboot i now recieve the missing file error "msjstick.drv;BASE5.CAB".
You should save cab files in a folder called "XP Disk" or something like it---for just such an ocurrence. Beats searching for a disk or waiting a day or two to get it from someone....got any friends on an Instant messaging service? they can maybe send you them if you need em right away.

Point it to either C:\Windows\System\ or C:\Windows\System32\ and it should pick everything up. It may ask you for the location of other files, just try both dirs.
