Bush is coming to my work tomorrow (Foreign Affairs Canada) to meet our new PM. I'm one of 4 techs that is going to work (I volunteered) that will cover the entire building.
The security will be tight (_o_). They are blocking streets, snipers on rooves (sp?), dogs, metal detectors etc.
IF you had the chance to say something to Bush in person, what would you say?
No vulgarities please.

How much extra is each and every petrol buyer paying when we fill up - because you invaded Iraq, and for Vladimir Putin killing Yukos Oil? I calculate it is 30 cents per litre - Can you have an advisor work out how much it has cost the world?

Well, he's come and gone. I didn't see him yesterday when he was here becaus eof the security but I was forced to walk in the freezing rain this am to get to work since the streets were closed again. By the time I was 1/2 way to work, his motorcade of cars with him inside drove by. I have pictures that I will bring home but it's in a powerpoint format.
If anyone is interested in seeing them, I can offer them on Kali.

Get a better speech coach. The Jean Poutine joke was well enough written but he delivered it like a ton of lead. The "America is our friend whether we like it or not" quote was read like it was a dictionary entry. A public speaker he is not.
An what is with Fox news making Paul Martin head of the Labour party? Do they even know what country they are in? Do they even know there are other countries?
CNN was no better, giving Ms. Parish status as "an important member of the government" Ha!

well, they have this little habit of broadcasting the most bottom feeding of programming during the week to pay for their clear and accurate political show on sunday. then they have the nerve to complain about "moral degradation" in our country.
