I hope he gets his money back.

I've stopped playing MMO's as I find reality much more interesting.

Most likely this is just the beginning. The more I hear, the more I want to avoid MMORPG games.

It looks like the key is the fact you can swap real for game money and back again in that system. I think he is hoping to resell the land or its resources and exchange the game money for real. Hey, real estate has always been a good investment. :P

Im sure there are plenty more idiots ready to buy shti from him.

As stupid as it sounds this guy is gonna make his money back plus some from the rent and sales fees for those wanting to 'virtually' live on his island. The sad part isn't that this guy was stupid enough to invest $26,000 ... in fact he knows what he is doing. What is sad is that there are thousands of other stupid idiots online that will be willing to pay him for use of his 'virtual' land. I am beginning to believe that some people have 'virtual' brains ...

I beta tested that game heh.
Sucked at the time, but you actually could make good money on that game if you know what you're doing.

Theres no charges to play, game is a free download too.
with an investment of $50 or so and a lotta skill you could make your money back pretty quick.

If you want a virtual piece of real estate, I have a slightly-used nuclear reactor to sell for the rock-bottom price of $26,000. :P

Futurama. :-) Also, spending that much real money on a game is retarded.
