So hows the white stuff treat'n ya? Doesn't bother me much what with owning a big 'ole Dodge 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive truck. I love driving around in this stuff.
Got a foot and a half last week that looks like its gonna stay.....raining today but it will still be here for xmas....cold snap again starting tomorrow.
No snow here in Atlanta but we got some flurries last Sunday. We are going up to Minneapolis for New Years and I hope there is snow when we get there. All that cold and no snow is a waste.
We had 1.5 feet of snow 2 days before Thanksgiving. A week after that, we had about 2 inches. Haven't seen a fleck of the white stuff since, even though we've been having lows of about -8 and highs of about 17 since then.
Here in southern IL we got about 8 inches in the past two days. Driving to work was pretty interesting. I'm glad I popped the extra money for better tires this summer
First three pics were taken about half an hour to an hour apart. The dark ones were taken about 5pm (any later and you wouldn't have seen anything at all), and the rest at 10am this morning.
Crap-load of rain and wind today, temp around 54. (This is in southeast Pennsylvania.) However, tonight temperatures are going to plummet, leading to a high of around 20 for Christmas Day. No snow, unfortunately, although we did have a dusting a few days ago. Oh well; at least the temperature is right.
Ugh. Left the house for Maryland at 9:15 yesterday morning. We got here at 5:30. My brother and dad were able to do the same ride in just over 4 hours two weeks ago. The entire northeast was just one big parking lot, and the rain didn't help. It's about 30 now, I think. No rain, luckily. Hopefully it doesn't snow in NY while I'm gone.
I wish we had some snow ... Our area (North Alabama) is notrorious for 'just missing' the snow. And again, true to form, the snow stops around 20 miles north of us (Just across the Tennessee border)
