Actually that video didn't distrub me all that much. I expect stuff like that from these people. I really think the crap that happened in that prison disturbed me more. We should be the example. Messing with a POW is against every article of the Geneva convention. It also happens to be completely unethical. I hope all involved suffer and pay for the damage it has cost in the conflict. We should be the sanity in the insane world over there. Let them prove themselves as animals, so the world finally see it clearly.
I don't really see the point of trying to do anything with IRAQ or the middle east for that matter. No matter what we do, its gonna piss somebody off. I say, lets finally new ways to generate power and let every damn one of them go right back to being a poor third world POS country. The fact that we prolly have more oil reserves untapped here than most of the middle eastern country's makes me sure of one thing. We are basically waiting until all of thier oil is used up then we will be the ones laughing when they need fuel for their BMW limos..
I find it ironic that it was US money that developed these countries ability to produce oil in the first place and now they want to make us out to be the 'Evil Empire'
I generally enjoy reading your posts, Birds. I think you are a genuinely intelligent and proud american. I don't hold it against you that you will never serve it. To each his own. I serve proudly and will continue to do so as you sit and happily post on the DBB about how 'your' government fails you. I must say I agree at times but, I do not try and spread my hate and discontent.
