I think I'd have a whole Mech from Mechwarrior. Anything with a Gauss Rifle and some LRMs would do nicely, thank you.
Although I have a feeling that Mechs wouldn't stand up too well against Fusion Cannons or chickens launched at high speed.

didnt they make a proper chicken gun on mythbusters once? (I think they used frozen chickens!)

Yes, they did. I think they shot it at a plane windshield to test the integrity.

Yeah, that's probably one of their most famous tests. Although I think an Atlas assault mech would only go down against live chickens.
