where I come from, your real estate is counted as the LOWEST potential value, and you don't count 'deals and branding' as assets. Just for starters. Also, I suspect that the 500 Million debt load doesn't count collective debt with partners on those jointly held real estate assets he boldly posts optimistic figures for. Why would I so greatly suspect his numbers? He told a Delaware judge that a property he used to hold in Atlantic City counted as $82 million dollars in assets. He sold it for $8.4 million. So, he was off by a decimal place.

True. But he thought about it before chickening out. Close enough.woodchip wrote:Perhaps your reading cognition has slipped but your link is only showing Trump as considering to run...not officially throwing his hat in the ring as he has done now.tunnelcat wrote:Your memory is either slipping, or you never considered him a serious contender before.

Any better coming from a celebrity source? The Donald needs to remember that anything he puts out on the net, stays on the net long enough for millions to read it.woodchip wrote:Since it is MSN I wouldn't believe a word of it.

Getting past the vitriolics, Trump is being vindicate by his stance on illegal boarder jumpers. The shooting in San Francisco highlighted what he was articulating perfectly. So much so that Dems like Sen Feinstein no longer are agreeing with the concept:
“I strongly believe that an undocumented individual, convicted of multiple felonies and with a detainer request from ICE, should not have been released,” Ms. Feinstein said "
The same with Hillary Clinton:
"The city made a mistake, not to deport someone that the federal government strongly felt should be deported," Clinton said during an interview with CNN. "So I have absolutely no support for a city that ignores the strong evidence that should be acted on."

Refreshing to see a conservative unabashedly sticking to his guns and setting the optics on a issue for a change.
