australian tarantulas are rare.

lobber i think it was a brown huntsman spider, they are very common, specially round this time of year (getting hotter).

I myself would have gottin the good old BB gun and put one it that demon.

I wish my cat would hunt spiders. She don't do ★■◆● though. She just sits in the driveway all day eating grass. She is old. We did get a new cat, but he runned away. :cry:

awww just a widdle huntsman spider :P They grow a bit larger than a human hand. We let them run around rampart in our house because they are awesome pest controllers.

I took a look around outside, and couldn't find any big spiders, but I did find this stick insect again. He's been hanging around the same place for 3 weeks now. He's around 15cm (6") long with his front legs out like that. He sways in the breeze too. Cool insect, but if you think big... Well Roidster's homeland hosts the world's largest Stick Insects at up to 27cm (11")!

Bravery? No, it's just fun. I've got a pet spider that lives under my bed. He crawls all over me at night. He's not one of the little ones, either... he's one of those big hairy brown ones the size of a half dollar. He's so cute... :D

uh... heh... i raise them. ive got about 30 in a 3 foot long container, and about 45 dead. just put romain lettuce and spray with water every day. bout 5 squirts.
