One could say the same about driving a passenger car around a race track at high speeds.

I feel for you and understand why you are upset and venting, but don't be surprised or offended if a lot of us disagree with you. It has nothing to do with being "red neck Americans". Blaming guns for your brotherâ??s accident is like blaming the semi for Kromâ??s brotherâ??s accident. In both cases it the misuse or unsafe use of the item in question by a HUMAN that resulted in the accident, not the item itself. It is just as useless to blame the activity being engaged in at the time. In both cases a human being was to blame.

I would hope that after the sorrow and shock of the incident fades, you will see that your anti-gun/hunting/American statements were either illogical or out of line.

In the mean time, I keep you and your family in my thoughts.

pang!

it makes me want to vomit to read these peoples posts that end with "in my thoughts and prayers...etc". it just seems so bloody hollow, ya know? like they say that to make themselves seem so benevolent and NOT to actually pray for said person.

i read the thread... and i know tricord came out with his text guns a blazin'. but if my fellow dbb'ers are so wonderful (like they'd have you believe) why not let it roll off? why turn it into some flag waving bullshizz?

because they ain't that wonderful.

:P
