Whats my function? Lets see im a college student and I work 2 jobs. First is in a small firm where we handle inspections of property and houses for banks on delinquent loans. On the side I do ALL of their computer stuff but I get paid in peanuts in that department. Second job I work for Motorola in the 3G mobile devices sector handeling metrics and benchmarking of competitor phones while doing some lab work ever once in a while.

You wanna impress us you gotta be a Frequency Domain Reflectometrist!!! :P
Bah. FD is for pussies.

Actually I mostly write software. At one time I wrote a DSP function library that may have been used for reflectometry, in either domain. Before that I had read somewhere a joking reference to the profession of "time domain reflectometrist", and thought it was just meaningless techno-speak invented by the author, but it turns out it's a real field of study.

So anyway, if my function is to write functions, I guess I have a second-order function. (CS joke.)

I've also occasionally been paid to play the cello, and this summer I was effectively a full-time (but unpaid) orchestrator.

And soon I'll be starting my own company. (Where "soon" means "probably this decade".)
