Besides Video/Computer Games

Besides video/computer games, what do you do for fun or relaxation?
I watch some anime(such as Robotech, Gundam and Eureka Seven) on DVD, Paint my assembled miniatures, walk my dog, reading Novels(Battletech based novels obviously), browse the net(dur!), drawings/artwork, listen to music, and making levels/missions for various games(does this count?), making websites. That's all I can think of.

Fun? Relaxation? What's that?
Seriously, though.... I design websites for relaxation. I build database management systems for fun.
Quite sad, isn't it?

Play guitar. Read. Write code. Friends. With friends I go bowling or shoot pool or barhop, or hang out at each other's houses. (It's nice when you get old you have your own place)

I mostly draw and listen to music. Sometimes I write. Believe it or not, I also post to bulletin boards - it's great fun!

Badminton at open gyms with friends.
I watch TV, I discovered Scrubs a week or so ago. My god this show is funny. I read a novel at night. I'm almost done Nemesis by Asimov. I also do graphic design work on the computer.
Not only that, but I'm addicted to youtube. Save me.

My favorite hobbies right now are listening to music, playing guitar, and learning Japanese. I also spend way too much time in front of the computer, reading lots of stuff.

Read books.
Play tin whistle.
My 7 year old son is learning piano and we like to have jam sessions, he makes up part on the piano and I make up part on the whistle or fife. You, uhm, really wouldn't want to hear it, but we have a lot of fun!
Play non-computer games. Chess, Monopoly, Risk, Bonkers, Go-Fish, Memory, Cathedral, Groo, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Battleship, Checkers, Mancalla, Chinese Checkers, Stratego, Clue, Dominoes, etc.
Puzzles. Got a new 3D castle we've got to put together but we haven't finished the roof of the 3D \"Lord of the Rings Edoras\" puzzle we started on before Christmas.
Talk. It's amazing how much fun you can have just sitting around and talking to people.
You can combine the \"read a book\" and \"talk\" fun easily by getting together a group and reading a book together and then discussing/arguing about it. I do this almost every week, LOTS of fun!
The old fashioned sit around the living room with real people kind of fantasy role playing games.
I'm learning Java. So yes, I'm insane, I work at programming all day, then program in the evenings for \"relaxation\" just because I think it's fun.
And, occasionally, I participate in online forums...

Play guitar, work out, write, listen to music, drink/smoke with my homies. I'm also a beer pong champion.
I like playing football and baseball, camping and going to the shooting range when the weather's warm.
It's weird, I live in Denver and I'm not really big into skiing/snowboarding.

I recently moved to Denver, and I'm the same. I enjoy skiing (I have yet to try snowboarding), but it's not a huge deal for me, unlike some people out here.

I know it's difficult for the modern guy to believe, but having significant discussions used to be considered the exclusive purview of males.
Now we've not only allowed the women in, but moved the guys out. No discussions above the level of sports debates allowed for typical males. Alas.
Fortunately, no one has EVER mistaken me as being a typical anything.

We got a lot of guitar players around here. Rock on.
I received a bird feeder for Christmas, so I set it up outside a window. It's very pleasant to watch the birds eat. Cardinals are the best looking.

De Rigeur, what kind of guitar do you have? It looks like an PRS CE or something.

I have a PRS Swamp Ash Special, but this one is a custom built job that I got off ebay. It has Duncan PU's and LR Baggs piezo bridge. Pretty versatile.

Ah, very nice. I've never been a huge PRS fan, but those Swamp Ash guitars look nice.

I run way more than is healthy (training for a marathon right now), play guitar (I remember asking about guitars way back when here, and I finally bought one a year ago and love it... I'm really abysmal though), I am a voracious reader (currently 1030 pages into Cryptonomicon), I like to fish too.
