I shovel several times per storm, then I only have to move a little bit of snow each time.

Where was this, NY? We got 3 inches in Phili, and these morons were 1/4\" away from declaring national emergency.

We've dealt with a 2-foot snow set, a 3-inch ice/snow/sleet/ice layer set (in that order), and two further 6-inch snows this winter.

It also takes three hours per run to shovel the driveway (side-entry, 2-car garage on a house set far back on the property)... Most annoying. :P

The most we got was about 4 inches here, I can't ever remember there being more than 8, not since I was a small kid, every year we get less and less snow, you can't hardly get enough to go sledding anymore.

Hey, I took advantage of it to get 1/2 a day off.

Pitstown. Its just a little east of Troy NY. If you take a look at a map its fairly close to where NY, VT and MA all come together.

The local weather channel said it totaled about 18".

Heh, the most snow we had in the 16 years I lived here was from the blizzard of March 1993. I was only about 6 or 7 years old and I remember it coming up to my chest (but that could have been from the snow piles. Imagination can mess up one's distance memory:P) But yeah, we've been getting less snow every year. I'm not complaining, though. I'm not much of a winter person

Ottawa gets on average 7 feet a season. So far this season, I think we are at 1 foot.
