How to maintain stubble?

Alright, what is the best way to maintain stubble so that it doesn't start to look too shaggy?

It's always been a basic house rule that I shave before I go out in public. Well, it seems that girls I meet seem to think differently lol and have asked me to grow my beard out. ;) I was always told that girls hate beards and they view it as being lazy. I've always liked a little stubble though but I always shave it off before I go out. I'll wear it around the house though. I don't like it too shaggy or long though or it starts to look funky and I can get a bit of a greasy look.

I'm guessing an electric shaver?

yup.

a low setting will do if you're going for the \"Don Johnson\" look.

Unemployment helps. So do pizza stains.

ROTFL :D

I actually had a beard when I WAS employed. I drove all over the state installing internet and working on towers in the freezing cold. These girls saw a pic of me when I had my beard that year and they said it was their favorite picture of me. :P

I'm going to be starting college and I'm also learning several forms of dance so I generally keep myself well shaved.

I want to correct myself. Not a shaver, but clippers. I use about half way so the whiskers are a bit long. They don't itch that way.

I have stubble out of pure laziness. Before I found this girl I im interested in I shaved once a week, now its twice. Movin' on up! :P

Electric clippers and a short guard work well for me. My wife likes it, except just after I've clipped it short - I guess it's \"poky\" at that point. :)

I use a weekly paycheck and force my woman to shave, but that's just me.

I'll do it once a week, usually on the weekend so I can look clean shaven for the start of the week. To be honest, after a certain point the hairs bug the heck outta me until they come off... The exception to this was deer season when you kinda want as much hair as you can get...

Or you could be a real man and use a pair of sciszors (sp?) :P

Actually, I used to do that in college... sort of. I had a Swiss Army knife with the little scissor-like attachment, and used it to trim my facial hair. It worked well (a nicely-trimmed short beard can look good!), but it took a long time to do.

Yeah, when you're going to work just use the trimmer, but when you need that sexy beard line, when you need to impress the ladies, you gotta pull out the ol' skizzers, there you become the artist.

Do what I do and shave with a rock and some barbed wire. IT helps if you're chewing broken glass while doing so.

That's the only manly way.

Or a saber tooth tiger attached to a stick.

Who's poor job is to attatch it to a stick?

Not Chuck Norris. The tiger does it for him.
