Is it safe to venture into the Ethics forum or would that be considered unwise?

Yea, after taking a close look, I think I might want to generally stay out of there.
Man, would be great to see the community liven up a bit with a new descent release wouldn't it? To crush all sorts of people on Xbox Live or PC Online would be sweet!

I've yet to find any \"real life\"-related subforum in a gaming network that was worth frequenting. The inhabitants are usually more interested in pushing their own ideas and ideologies than in having any kind of meaningful discussion.
P.S. This applies to both left-oriented and right-oriented forums. They're both insistent that the other side are complete idiots, and the only consistent conclusion is that everyone in the entire human race has maybe a couple brains between them.

I just don't mingle well with the \"Ground Pounders\". I'm much more sophisticated than that haha.
Man, who came up with that term anyway? And does anyone remember the flamewar drama over at the Redfaction forum. Thundercat, etc... One of of the most memorable threads of all time.

Oh yeah. Barely, though; it was quite a few years ago.
I think it was slang that originally came from the air force or something? To be honest, in this day and age its use as a pejorative to describe the FPS genre usually betrays narrow-mindedness... :/ Things have advanced since the days Descent was facing off Doom, after all.
