My latest mission with JP Aerospace

I'm sure some of you remember the pics I posted of Away 38 over the summer. Well, about a month or so ago we flew another one, and this one made it to MSNBC.
Actually yes it was. Toshiba wanted Simon to do the commercial originally, but as you could see the transmitted video was too poor quality for a TV commercial, and it seems that's all he could offer them. The radio sounds were actually taken from Simon's vehicle as ours did not beep like that.Floyd wrote:this is a great verification of this:
only that you used a better camera, a more expensive and more handsome chair and the sound was speeded up.
science works, yay

i don't understand. if toshiba supplied the cameras, how could Simon not offer a better image?!EngDrewman wrote:Actually yes it was. Simon was using transmitted video; our craft recorded it onto onboard memory cards that were recovered after the flight. I think the reason Simon was using transmitted video is that he did not recover his craft. Also, our cameras were supplied by Toshiba, but I don't know if that was true for Simon as well.Floyd wrote:i don't understand. if toshiba supplied the cameras, how could Simon not offer a better image?!EngDrewman wrote:Actually yes it was.
