Network drive viewed as local volume..

Hey guys, figured i would pick the brains of the guys here
I have a netgear ReadyNas Duo v2...Very neat little NAS unit.
I know in Windows 2003 Server, there is a way to create a local folder, but it in fact is a network share using DFS.
Problem is, not sure how to get that done.
Can it be done in Windows XP 64 bit ? (seeing as it is built of 2003 server)
Trying to setup a folder on a server or PC that is actually the network share mounted through DFS. Not exactly the same as mapping a network drive by the way.
