Read this link:
phpbb/faq.php#13

Any title that doesn't appear on that list is custom, and no, you can't have one.

P.S. this is the third time I've answered this for you.

I nominate RT for the title of "DBB Powern00b", since he cant seem to get past that DBB newbie stage. Maybe also force his avater to something stupid because he keeps asking about titles.

uhh Tomato, you need to read the FAQ part about how to use the PHP Tags.

when you make a Quote, the ending tag should be
and not a
. the / denotes the closing of the tag in use.

Actually, you both did the same thing. With the malformed quote in the original quote, everything after got screwed up, since no one escaped their phpBB code, so the phpBB processing took it as commands, screwing up the intended post. :)

but without the [/quote], does PHP automatically assume that i am intending to make a quote?

It'll match up [ quote] and [ /quote] into a "quote", and it seems to do it "inside-out", so with the extra [ quote] in the first post, it matched the second one with the [ /quote], instead of the first one. Krom quoting you just made it all worse. :D

A single [ quote] that can't be matched just sits around, but if someone quotes it, then all hell breaks loose. :)
