Pokemon: The Origins

before the midnight release of Pokemon X and Y, I saw the 4 part of Pokemon: The Origins OVA (Japanese audio with English subs on youtube). I must say it's 1000 times better than the other show with stupid Ash. The Origins focuses on Red this time. The OVA is very canonical to the original games unlike the other show. What are your thoughts of this OVA?
(I know you guys are gonna be outraged and so angry about my return to Pokemon. If you still hate Pokemon, shame on you, okay. Shame on you that you think my return to Pokemon is a travesty. I don't even watch the show with annoying Ash. Red is superior than Ash, and heck they are different characters. Sure Ash is visually inspired by Red but they're different characters. That doesn't mean that I'm gonna catch every single pokemon in the games, I only catch a fraction of em)

So Origins it's already out? Haven't got the chance to see it yet, but I'm havin big expectations with this one.
I always enjoyed the original Red/Blue games (and the GBA remakes), so an OVA faithfully based on those games sounds like fun for sure.

No, you have it backwards.

Isaac, if you don't have anything meaningful to contribute, don't post at all.

Oh did my post lack meaning? Let me clarify its meaning:
Anyone that tells an open forum to be ashamed for hating pokemon has invited themselves to be mocked. Now, there is a limit, which most of us don't cross, to how badly one should mock another on a classy forum like ours. However, one should always remember: This is the internet; saying something stupid will probably be met with a reply, saying "stupid". And nobody, not even you or I, Krom, is above being called "stupid".

We get that you are trying to mock him for it, however meaningful contribution requires that the mocking be actually witty and entertaining, you have failed to reach that standard of quality. Ergo:

In reality replace the words "mock" with "troll"!
Krom is definitely being too nice to you

Actually, Krom and Ferno are just good mods. In places I mod, I make sure the mods under me use their words instead of lazily using mod powers to resolve a problem. In fact, if you notice, Ferno is amazing at using words and hardly ever resorts to mod powers. You could learn a thing or two, Bubbals.

Good Lord... I have been away from the Descent community for a long time! Geesh!
First, I don't recognize anyone except BUBBALOU, who was probably a Descent "first adopter" like myself. I've been around since Descent 1 and hung on through the Descent 3 period... until the original Outrage D3 servers were shut down. I miss them.
So, my point?
- What self-respecting Descent pilot plays or even mentions Pokemon: (Any Incarnation) in a Descent forum?
I mean, to each his/her own... but, seriously?
- Secondly, what self-respecting Descent BB forum moderator rebukes any self-respecting Descent pilot for not adhering to limp-wristed, panty-wasted, "politically-incorrect" (barf) standards of behavior or commentary? Don't we have enough of that crap with the current sociopathic, socialist wusses and morons who call themselves "running" America at this time? I mean, "If you can't play nice and/or post something of value to everyone then don't post at all... you may offend someone." (sniff, sniff!) Really?
What the h3ll kinda' Descent BB has this become anyway?
The world truly has lost it's b@ll$ and gone to hell in a hand basket when a formerly cool and hard@$$ed forum like the original Descent BB goes sickeningly politically-correct on me.
Pokemon?
You're not playing nice?
We must not offend anyone! (barf)
Other than Bubbalou, where have all of the American Descent "Old-Timers" gone? I think I've been jettisoned to some parallel universe or something. Man, I miss the old Descent days... they were exciting! And surely no one ever "bothered" themselves worrying about hurting someone's wittle feewings on ANY of the various Descent forums around the web!
Did I miss something?
(sigh)
BTW... 'sup, Bubbalou?

What is this Pokemon thing anyway? It seems to really piss off some people around here, perhaps I should make the entire site about Pokemon just because I can and I would love to see how pissed off some of these blowhards would get over it.

Lol. I've identified the murder victim. It was "intelligent conversation".
He was shot, bludgeoned with a shovel, impaled on iron spikes, stabbed multiple times in the groin with a dull knife, and then vaporized with a fusion cannon.

Alter, how could he have been the victim if he was never here? I don't think he ever uses the internet.

I don't know who Bliss is, but it never ceases to amaze me how this community managed to collect such a huge population of rednecks over the years.
