I use a tiling window manage (i3), and don't have anything putting icons on the desktop.
I see the background maybe for 30 seconds a day, but anyway, here it is: About as simple as you get, but I like it!

Hehe, glad to know you liked it. I'm also a huge fan of Anime and Manga, and in fact, even my job is related to that (I work at a monthly Anime/Comic convention ).

My desktop wallpaper automatically changes every 60 minutes to some random usually anime/manga related wallpaper, but once in a while for a month or two I will switch to a different source and pull scenic landscapes, or stuff like what sdfgeoff posted.

I kept one background for something like 4 or 5 years, and the current one has been on for months. Y'all have ADD.

I have a slideshow as well, mostly because I can - though also just kind of keeping it around for a while because the gallery people axed the dynamic themes for reasons unknown to mankind. One day I'll find a new set of photos, but until then, oh well.

Also, it seems like every time I check the desktop some random program has put itself there... or the icons have all been reshuffled (an annoyance that has persisted since pretty much win95... I guess people got so used to it they forgot it was annoying?). But still. YAY TEAM AMERICA and stuff.

You a One Piece fan Pumo?

I'm a general Anime fan, but not that much specifically of One Piece (the only looooong series I barely tolerate is Naruto, and just a few non-filler episodes). But I do like some of the characters of One Piece, and also like cute Anime girls in general lol.

When I'm not using an abstract art, space-themed or volcano related wallpapers I always end using Anime girl wallpapers by default.

Here's mine as of July.


I love the Zelda series so much ever since I was a kid. My favorite ones are Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

He's the closest thing I have to a pet now because I don't like dogs. But he's not a dog, and he likes me. And he thinks I'm a leopard... I put him through a bunch of filters but nobody was threatening me. I can honestly say I wasn't under any duress whatsoever.

At first he decided I was his friend. Now I think he's decided I'm his therapist. It's a long story.

I would like to see a picture nonetheless.
