A Descent3 evening is scheduled for the 7th of August - 8PM UTC+2 ! We'll lurk on the Teamspeak 3 server of TS3.descentforum.net:11236 pw DFNET and on the IRC of IRC.descentforum.net #descent (join by Vortex, Trillian, Pidgin or any client you like). Depending of the amount of participants we might set up a CTF game. Stay tuned!

2PM EST on a Monday when people typically work until 5pm? Why wouldn't this be done on a weekend?

Yo Merlin!

I told the folks who organised this that the scheduled time would only be sufficient for Euro players plus a few ...

If I had organised this, it would have been a Saturday / Sunday with a similar time to statistically allow the max pilots to be able to join.

Aas I said: I shall schedule something like this later in the year as I will barely be able to make it myself in summer.

However: Thought I'd let you guys know - in case somebody is flexible to be able to make it

Considering it happened pretty spontaneously and on a monday night (8PM does not let you much time if you are due to be working the other day) I was pretty surprised that we had around 12 pilots turning up.

We even had a CTF in Halcyon going later the evening. Here the stats of that game:
